Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your preferences and actions over time. Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive (transposed in Portugal via Lei n.º 41/2004), you have the right to be informed about cookies and, for non-essential cookies, to give or refuse consent.
2. Our approach
Clikta takes a privacy-first approach to cookies. We use the absolute minimum number of cookies needed to operate the service. Specifically:
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies
- We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioural advertising technology
- Our analytics provider (Plausible) is completely cookieless and stores data in the EU
- The only cookie we set by default is the authentication session cookie — required for the service to function

4. How to manage cookies
Since we only use one essential cookie and no tracking cookies, there is no cookie consent banner on Clikta. The session cookie is necessary to keep you logged in — disabling it will prevent the app from functioning.
You can manage and delete cookies at any time through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
5. Third-party cookies
Clikta does not load any third-party advertising or tracking scripts. If you embed a Clikta demo on your own website (via iframe), no Clikta cookies are set on your users' browsers.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if our practices change. We will update the "Last updated" date above and notify users of material changes via email.
